GRAVITational StoragE, Quantum computing, and AI for enhanced Circularity and Reliability in Clean transition-affected sector-coupled electricity grids Objective: Demonstrate technical feasibility of solutions that enable reliability and circularity of sector-coupled electricity grids affected by clean energy transition, by combining emerging technologies, such as gravitational storage, QC,QIC, trustworthy AI, and edge intelligence.
Objective: The QUORUM project aims to promote a Spanish ecosystem of quantum technologies with the aim of generating knowledge, improving technology transfer, developing local talent, identifying useful use cases for the industry etc.
Quantum computing, and quantum-inspired technologies focusing on Genomics, Drug Discovery, and Healthcare Assistance through multiple use cases within these areas. In Genomics, the project uses quantum computing for reconstructing phylogenetic trees, improving the tracking of mutations. In Drug Discovery, it explores quantumbased drug development. In Healthcare Assistance, it leverages AI and quantuminspired technologies to optimize medical processes
Quantum_Iber_IA ("Strategic boost to capabilities in quantum technologies and artificial intelligence in the cross-border Iberian area") is a cross-border cooperation project co-funded by the Interreg VI-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2021-2027 Programme. Coordinated by the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN) and involving 17 leading Spanish and Portuguese organizations, the initiative aims to position the Iberian Peninsula as a reference hub for quantum technologies and artificial intelligence by promoting the shared use of advanced infrastructures, including supercomputers, quantum networks, and AI platforms. The project focuses on accelerating innovation and adoption across strategic sectors such as healthcare, agri-food, cybersecurity, energy, and the environment. Within this framework, the Quantum_Iber_IA International Conference 2026 brings together the Iberian and international scientific, technological, and business communities to showcase advances, project outcomes, and real-world applications of quantum technologies and AI.
