With more than 70 years of experience as a supplier and partner to the global automotive, commercial vehicle, and hydraulics industries, Fritz Winter Iron Foundry stands for reliability and innovation. As one of the world’s largest independent foundries, this family-owned company develops and manufactures raw and finished components as well as complex system parts, including lightweight designs.
The legacy system incurred high operational costs and lacked the flexibility to accommodate future requirements. Our focus was therefore on establishing highly available global IT service delivery from two data centres, alongside enabling bidirectional infrastructure scalability.
An innovative end-to-end solution was implemented, consisting of PRIMERGY RX2540 M7 servers, the Infrastructure Manager (ISM), a NetApp AFF C-250 storage solution, and the flexible uSCALE pay-peruse model.
