About the customer

The Proxmox VE virtualization solution enables the Bachner Group to achieve a higher degree of sovereignty in the data center. Fsas Technologies was once again able to assert itself as a partner for the implementation with a tailor-made solution.

Challenges

Proxmox VE was the Bachner Group's choice when renewing the existing VMware ESX infrastructure. Together, the aim was to develop an innovative concept with the appropriate configuration for a tailor-made solution.

Solutions

Under the virtualization solution Proxmox VE, an extremely highperformance, clustered Ceph storage solution with five PRIMERGY RX2530 M7 was implemented: The core component is a redundantly distributed object storage over any number of servers. The Ceph Storage Cluster network was implemented with direct LAN cabling.
