Fsas Technologies introduces Cool-Safe Liquid Cooling Technology, designed to address the limitations of traditional air-cooled data center racks as computing systems grow denser and produce more heat. This new solution highlights Fsas Technologies’ commitment to practical, solution-oriented innovation combined with a focus on technologies that provide measurable business and sustainability benefits.
Data center temperatures are rising as AI and HPC workloads increase rack density and thermal output. Many organizations are finding that conventional air cooling can no longer remove heat efficiently enough to support their next-generation compute environments.
At the same time, data center operators are also under growing pressure to improve power usage effectiveness, optimize floor space utilization and modernize older facilities – all while keeping infrastructure costs in check. Cool-Safe Liquid Cooling Technology also supports greater sustainability and compliance with regulatory requirements, including the EU Digital Decade 2030 goals, the EU Energy Efficiency Directive and Germany’s Energy Efficiency Act.
Compared to traditional air cooling, liquid cooling provides better heat dissipation for high-performance and high-density computing environments. This lowers energy consumption, enables smaller infrastructure footprints, reduces noise and lowers long-term operating costs through less component wear and fewer system failures.
Innovative New Single-Phase Closed Loop System Lowers Temperatures Fast and Efficiently
Cool-Safe Liquid Cooling Technology works on direct liquid cooling principles, using single-phase cold plate technology within a closed-loop system. Combining efficient direct liquid cooling with enterprise-grade infrastructure and services gives organizations a practical way to modernize existing data centers for next-generation high-performance and AI-driven workloads while achieving higher rack densities and more energy-efficient operations. The approach provides a strong balance of consistent performance, reliability, cost-effectiveness and straightforward deployment compared with more complex alternatives such as two-phase or immersion cooling.
The PRIMECENTER Rack M2 42U LC is part of the solution. This dedicated rack is optimized for high-density IT equipment and liquid cooling infrastructure. Components include the CDU 4U coolant distribution unit with up to 80 kW of cooling capacity, a coolant distribution manifold supporting up to 72 nodes in a single rack, and liquid-cooling modules attached directly to CPUs to capture heat from high-power processors. Supported systems are the PRIMERGY RX2540 M8 and PRIMERGY RX2530 M8 rack servers.
Cool-Safe Liquid Cooling Technology is available directly from Fsas Technologies, with pricing dependent on configuration. The offer also includes installation and implementation services for physical installation and initial setup, as well as ongoing technical support for continuous and reliable operation.
